A toy for when my grandson gets here.

100% recycled plastic, it claims.

S o it's a fondant cake?

Fits that description. Fondant is a mystery to me.

I don’t know about the claims but I’ve gotten these for my nephews and daughter and they last forever. The store by me that usually stocks them stopped selling them recently but the squirts are growing up anyways :/

“100% Recycled Plastic” is embossed on the bottom of the toy, so I’m sure it’s true.

Those recycled toys are really nice. My girls have some of them. They're quite durable.

The proportions are fun on this one.
Tool question for you: drill bits that have quarter-inch hex shanks on them: are any of them not wobbly pieces of crap?
![]() 07/18/2020 at 10:23 |

Nope. I use regular drill bits in a regular chuck. The 1/4" drive shanks are great for screw driver bits though . I really like the Milwaukee ones.

“Nope,” as in they’re all wobbly pieces of crap? Has been my experience so far, with some way s**ttier than others.

Correct. They are all wobbly pieces of crap. It simply isn't a secure enough connection for a drill bit. Great for screws, terrible for holes.

Okey dokey. By the by, some months back, as you may recall, I bought a DeWalt 18V cordless, the heavy one with the impact capability and the metal chuck. At the same time, I bought the cordless sidewinder saw from the same technology. Best power tool money I ever spent. Best drill I ever used. I don’t mind the weight at all. In fact, in a strong hand, I think the extra mass is beneficial for steadiness.

They're really nice tools.
